The Town of Discovery Bay CSD is responsible for maintenance of local parks and recreation facilities.  The most important project currently underway related to recreation services is the proposed community center that is to be funded primarily through developers who set aside funds specifically for Discovery Bay to have a community center.  Once the community center is built, it is anticipated that community recreational programs and activities might be held within the new facility.

Presently, some organizations utilize facilities at our local schools for after-school recreational programs such as sports activities, club meetings and more.

Additionally, there are numerous opportunities for recreational programs and facilities in nearby Brentwood.
