It's been a long time coming, but she was worth the wait - the Town of Discovery Bay CSD has finally hired a new Landscape Manager, Fairin Perez.  As a former Account Manager with Valley Crest, Fairin was involved in landscaping at The Lakes as well as in Mountain House. This experience will enable her to jump right in as she is already familiar with the challenging water and soil conditions of Discovery Bay.

Both the CSD and the general community have expressed concern about the lack of focus on landscaping needs; however, without a staffmember dedicated to these issues, it has been difficult to determine which problem areas to tackle first.  Fairin's initial work will likely focus on reviewing and prioritizing known concerns and then developing a recommended action plan to present to the CSD Board and community at an upcoming meeting.
